Good news - the knowledge of free popsicles at the end of every t-ball game did not hinder Braden's focus on the ball what so ever as the next series of photos will illustrate. I do apologize for the quality of the photos - I've got to remember my zoom lens next time so these are cropped very tight and are not all in focus.
What you probably can't tell from the pictures is that my sweet son was assigned to play short stop and that the ball he was chasing down on his unfortunate collide with the runner was hit to right field. Yes she did fall down but managed to make it to 2nd base before the ball was retrieved. Braden headed back to his position, looking around for a little sympathy but getting none let go of his elbow and continued his aggressive ball play.
I do have to mention that a couple of plays later a grounder was hit right to him and he made a great stop and threw it back to the pitcher.
This week's flavor of choice was orange which he kindly gave his little brother a few tastes.
