We are so excited to finally be moving into our first house... yes we are first time home owners and so excited that the government is willing to "stimulate" such a special group of people. I wanted to share this momentous occasion with you all.
Now - being a avid HGTV viewer, I expected the home buying process to be so special - what with all those choices. The anticipation was killing me - would it be house one, two or three that we would choose? (Wait a minute - we couldn't find house 2 and 3 - just one to choose from).
So with out delay - here it is, a carpet tour through our house - and man does our house have the carpets....
This lovely mauve color is stunning in our new living room and hall. Mauve is the trend this season you all know.
On to the kitchen and dining room - blue with the mauve accents to tie into the living room. I know you are all jealous of me getting to eat in a carpeted dining room with a two year old....
All three bedrooms have this fluffier blue-green-brown carpet that is no joke some of the softest carpet I've ever laid my bare feet on. In the words of my first born "mom, never take that carpet out of my room, ok!!!" He wants everyone to take their shoes off when they come into his room. Thankfully it is soft because his little brother prefers it to his new big boy bed at nap time.
Now my favorite carpeted room of the house.... yes you guessed it the bathroom....
And in case you think your eyes are deceiving you... a close up look at the carpet under the toilet...
Can we all say together - POTTY TRAINING NIGHTMARE....
This will be the first flooring to be redone.
Now that I have you all jealous of my carpet showroom, I would like for you to dazzle over this eye candy on every outlet and light switch in the house....
Seriously I almost forgot to show you may favorite part
Check out this double, floor to ceiling, north facing window - I can't wait to try out some natural light photography with that baby!!! The drapes are fabulous too don't you think!?
But all joking aside - we love our new house and our glad to be settling in - hopefully with some changes in the near future....
Ha Ha! THat's awesome! I'm sure you will have it looking cute in no time! I can't wait to come over for an in-person tour!!
